The Driftwood Resort is a charming getaway in Vero Beach with a unique atmosphere that allows for relaxation away from the bustling crowds. The rooms, while comfortable, definitely need some updating, and there’s a musty smell lingering in some areas. The location is fantastic, nestled right by the beach and close to great dining options. While the service was pleasant, the lack of dining options due to the restaurant being closed during my stay was a significant letdown.
This resort has a charming, rustic vibe that offers a unique experience. The rooms are spacious and provide beautiful ocean views from the deck, but they could use some updates. My stay was somewhat marred by loud noise from the beach that disrupted my relaxation. Overall, it’s a good value for a peaceful getaway by the ocean if you book the right room directly with the resort.
Our stay at Driftwood was fantastic! The ocean views were breathtaking, and the pools were great for relaxing. The staff truly made us feel welcomed, and the attached restaurant offered delicious meals with a beautiful seaside setting. The rooms, while charming, have that older feel, but everything was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Overall, Driftwood provides great value for money, with just a few minor areas for improvement.
I had a delightful stay at the resort, despite its quaint and somewhat outdated exterior. The rooms were spacious and had all the essentials we needed, plus a lovely ocean view from our deck. While the onsite restaurant was closed during our visit, other dining options nearby were convenient. The location is perfect as it’s just a short walk to the beach, but the limited parking was slightly inconvenient at times. Overall, it's a charming spot with a cozy vibe that I would happily return to.
While the location offers a charming beach vibe, my experience at the Driftwood Resort was marred by several issues. The room was generally clean but had a lingering odor and some insects. Additionally, despite a lively restaurant scene nearby, the on-site dining left much to be desired. Overall, the resort needs some attention to improve comfort and value for money.
